What it is  
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride is a skin-conditioning ingredient derived from coconut oil and glycerin. It helps soften and smooth the skin.

Why we use it  
It provides lightweight moisture, improves blendability, and helps create a comfortable, non-greasy feel—especially important for sensitive or compromised skin.

Why it’s considered safe  
- Non-irritating and non-sensitizing  
- Commonly used in dermatology and sensitive-skin formulations  
- Well tolerated by dry and reactive skin  

Good to know  
Despite being derived from coconut, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride is highly refined and does not behave like raw coconut oil. It is suitable for sensitive and treatment-affected skin.
